Update and Clan News

The patch fixing several MW3 bugs has been available now for several days. Here are our initial thoughts. The issue of lag shooting has finally been resolved, the days of emptying a full clip into an someone's back and not have any register only for them to turn around and kill you and thankfully over. Unfortunately it now seems to have gone the other way and it feels more like playing a hardcore game it's just too easy to kill and be killed.

The issue of the corrupt save date has also been resolved. This came about when a players Wii crashed it would result in a corrupt save file meaning they would have to wipe the account and start from the beginning as I found out 4 days in as I had just reached level 54 it happened. I have not had my Wii crash to test this fix since the patch but I have heard it's all working fine.

As with Black ops it took Treyarch a few patches before things were running well. I would like to see them work on the issues of peoples microphones cutting in and out in the next patch. Overall MW3 is a mixed bag its almost liked they tried to cram too much into this game and the Wii is simply struggling to cope. However when you're in a good game with a strong connection it's a very solid game.

We have a few new member of the Xteam 'Grey' and 'Tiger' they are both fitting in very well and Grey can be followed on his own blog http://xteamcallofdutygrey.blogspot.com If you are interested in joining the X team you must have a microphone, feel free to add us and play a few games and see if you like it.

Finally some sad news X Blue who was a longstanding founder member of the X team recently passed away. We are leaving his page open as a tribute to a fantastic player and teammate who will be sadly missed.

Wii MW3 Update from Treyarch

Hello MW3 Wii Community,

We are listening to you and are working on updates to the game based on your feedback. We are currently looking into the two most reported issues:

We are aware that some players are experiencing an issue commonly referred to as “lag shooting” where network lag will cause the player to have difficulty hitting an opponent.

Several players have reported their save data getting corrupted when the game freezes.

Both of these issues are a top priority for us and we will release an update as soon as they have been resolved.

Please continue to check the forums for updates. Any further issues identified for fixing will be updated to this space in the future.

In the meantime, thank you for your patience.
